Avocado is an alkaline food, so it’s a base, as are most fruits and vegetables. Avocados are very good for you, because of the fiber content and nutritional profile. And they taste great! (even though my son hates them for some unknown reason). But I eat them almost every day.
Really there aren’t many foods similar to an avocado that I can recommend, but other foods that are good for you are beets and coconuts. Hey, try coconut oil for cooking instead of vegetable oil!
